Libraries are key institutions for achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a framework for organizational change to create strong, resilient communities. Libraries are familiar, trusted organizations with a mission that supports economic opportunity, equality, civic engagement, education and health.  Rather than creating new, unproven infrastructure, existing library systems can align programming and services to transform lives and connect with community partners.
