Salt Lake County Library wanted to better understand the impact a free book program can have on reading frequency. Staff at the County Library’s Byington Reading Room put together an English and Spanish survey for parents of children receiving a free book.

  • Objective 3 An analysis of the 183 surveys received at the Byington Reading Room showed the more visits parents had made to the reading room to pick up a free book, the more these parents read to their children.
