A team spent a year identifying opportunities for improvement in the areas of conservation, access, safety, collection management, and policy creation with the intent of improving our ability to prevent theft and damage to collections. A major focus was implementing a full reading room upgrade, including a system for patron registration and record keeping. We want to celebrate our progress toward improvement while continuing our self-evaluation and creating goals for the future.
