The poster will review how library catalogs and discovery systems use authority data for searching and browsing, comparing this functionality with that provided by ArchivesSpace. It will consider the benefits of such systems, particularly for contextualizing materials maintained according to provenance. It will also look at the potential challenges such linked record systems might pose in library implementations.
