Religious Diversity in Salt Lake City: Historical and Contemporary Photographs at the University of Utah
This presentation highlights historical and contemporary photographs in the Marriott Library's Digital Library showing churches and other religious structures in Salt Lake City.  These photos reflect the history and diversity of religion in Salt Lake, and also the way in which historical buildings have been re-purposed, whether for secular uses or as homes of new religious communities.

Solving Family and Local History Mysteries Using Utah Digital Newspapers
Do you help patrons who are searching for information to solve family history mysteries? Or assist patrons with an interest in the local history of a small town in Utah? You can find this type of information in Utah Digital Newspapers (UDN), containing nearly 3.5 million newspaper pages dating back to 1850. This presentation will include an overview of UDN with a focus on how you can use UDN to find family or local history information. Tips for conducting research using UDN will also be shared.
