Yoga Storytime: Talk, Sing, Read, Write, Play & Namaste
In an effort to stay connected with early learners and their caring adults during storytime breaks, Salt Lake County Library’s South Jordan Branch identified a simple alternative: Yoga storytime. The program quickly gained popularity among South Jordan patrons, as well as at other County Library branches. Learn the implementation steps involved, lessons learned, and how to adapt and incorporate these ideas at your libraries.

Preserving and Disseminating Student-Created Video Games
A student-created video game, Erie, is widely-regarded as games studies program’s flagship game, has become marooned on an obsolete operating system. To avoid losing future student-created video games, librarians secured national grant funding to embed relevant library instruction, develop a preservation strategy, and public display for the student games. As stewards of rich authentic content, the library can preserve other complex forms of digital scholarship.

Nothing Could Be Easier: Creating an OER for Fairy Tales, Intermediate Writing, and Information Literacy
The collaborative endeavor of teaching intermediate writing with the focus of fairy tales and introduction of information literacy has inspired the creation of an Open Educational Resource (OER). While the OER project is still in its infancy, this session will discuss how the individual courses benefit from being taught as co-requisites - encouraging students to transfer skills across disciplines - and how librarians can use collaborative ventures to bridge to other projects like OER.
