Josh Loftin has served as the public information officer for the Department of Heritage & Arts since 2016. Prior to joining Heritage & Arts, he oversaw marketing and communications for Wasatch Academy, an international boarding school in central Utah. He also worked for more than 15 years as a political journalist and editor at The Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret News, Salt Lake City Weekly, and Associated Press. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, Dani, and two boys, Alex and Charlie.
